I’ve known Ryan for over a decade. He and his team have always solved our computer and network problems quickly with minimal interruption. I've worked with 2 IT consultants since starting my business 11 years ago. The first, who shall remain nameless, was like having another mid-level employee and the service certainly did not justify the cost. My IT Indy, formerly HoosierMac, has been our IT consultant for 6 years and offers various 'levels' of support. Based on the economies of scale I've found their pricing to be very justified. For the most part you know what you are paying monthly and can budget for expansion. We are completely satisfied with their service and pricing.

Besides counting on your systems to work reliably on a consistent basis, which they do, we have always been very concerned about security. This would include monitoring of our systems, backups, and firewalls. We have never had a system failure or intrusion. The latter is critically important to me as a hacker could bring down our business.

Although we always consider price when making such large decisions, that is not the only factor involved. We felt comfortable with My IT Indy from the start and new that we might have to pay a little bit more to get the kind of service we thought we needed. The peace of mind that comes with knowing we have a responsible party watching over our IT needs countered any pricing concerns we had.

As a small business, we needed a company that was doing the work for us. We don't have the time or personnel to do it ourselves. My IT Indy does it all for us and let's us know if there is a problem arising, before it puts a kink in our day to day business. Before we were on a service plan, we felt like we had to cluster our problems so we weren't having to pay for someone to come out multiple times. The single price per computer / workstation is great from the standpoint of knowing our cost each month and works better with long tern “wellness” of our systems. Since we are paying a flat fee, we are not concerned about raising an issue if something isn’t working properly. We are not concerned about the “nickel and dime” aspect of paying every time something is amiss. The single fee option also maintains all updates, backups, and general health of your system. Basically, you aren’t seeing the IT Doctor only when you are sick. You are maintaining your long term health.

Monitoring our overall IT system is were I see the real advantage of pro active monitoring and updating. An individual is really only concerned about their own workstation. Most of the work My IT Indy does is behind the scenes, keeping our systems running smooth. We have never had a failed back up or have lost time due a downed system. Issues do arrive and in most cases My IT Indy can fix them remotely due to the background monitoring and connectivity. Most of our employees are never aware there was a problem.
